Dr. Pauline Hall is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist with a background as a qualified Mental Health Nurse and Cognitive Behaviour Therapist. Her current role in the Mental Health Unit, under the National Perinatal Depression Initiative in South Australia, is Training Coordinator.

Tracy Semmler-Booth - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Midwife
Tracy Semmler-Booth is a Mental Health Nurse practitioner and Midwife who has been working in the field of perinatal and infant mental health for the past 13 years. Her current role is Principal Project Officer of the National Perinatal Depression Initiative in south Australia.
Topic - Maternal Mental Health
This presentation will focus on postnatal depression: prevalence, impact of untreated PND on the whole family, risk & protective factors. An overview of the National Perinatal Depression Initiative will also be discussed which will include the importance of screening and early intervention. This seminar will also briefly discuss Post Traumatic Stress Disorder arising from pregnancy / birth experience and will review prevalence, diagnostic criteria & some treatment options.
