Sacred Tribe Bellydancers
Sacred Tribe Dance Studios and is Adelaide’s longest running school to specialize in Tribal Belly dance. Artistic Director, Acushla Mkrtschjan has developed her own format, which has gained recognition Australia wide. She was recently invited to teach and perform in Sydney for the Australian Tribal Trance Festival, and Victoria’s first Unearthed Tribal festival.
She is one of the founding members of Ekatã Fusion Arts, which represents the collaboration of Sacred Tribe dancers and Li Sula world music collective. They recently presented their sell out debut shows for the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2010.
Acushla and Sonia are the teachers of Sacred Tribe Studios, and offer classes in Rostrevor and Semaphore.
